Management Rotation Program - Marketing & Sales

The Management Rotation Program (MRP) is a high level development opportunity for MBA professionals with 3-4 years business experience. You get the possibility to win intercultural expertise by working in multicultural teams and by being assigned in one of our more than 100 legal entities worldwide. The main part of the program will take place in Ingelheim am Rhein, close to Frankfurt in Germany or in Ridgefield, Connecticut, in the US.

What is the program about?

You will have the opportunity to get a deep insight in all essential Marketing interfaces and gain a broad understanding of Boehringer Ingelheim’s vision, strategy and company culture. It is designed for a period of 30 months and includes assignments in

- Marketing - e.g. developing global brand plans

- Area Management - e.g. coordinating & monitoring affiliates across countries

- International affiliate - e.g. commercializing the corporate portfolio in local markets

Your core responsibility will be to manage projects in the specific functions. This might include strategic, conceptual tasks as well as hands-on implementation work.

Moreover, you will work on day-to-day issues together with the team that you are embedded in. This will make sure that you will have the opportunity to learn about daily business as well as to demonstrate your capabilities and leave a lasting impact in the respective function.

In the course of your rotations you will be mentored and coached by a Senior Executive sponsor, who will support your development and provide high level guidance. Typically, this person will report directly to the board.
