“I work for Boehringer Ingelheim Japan. Currently, I’m spending two years at the Corporate Headquarters in Germany. I think it’s exciting to gain some insight into the processes that shape the company’s global policy. 

My work here in Germany involves attending to Boehringer Ingelheim’s Japanese business partners. I assist them with their arrangements whether it be internal meetings, visit to hospitals or pharmacies or weekend sightseeing. On my occasional visits to the top floors of Headquarters I’m always pleased with the friendly and open communication at Boehringer Ingelheim. My boss, too, and the colleagues of my division always have an open ear for questions and help me in many different ways. 

What I like best about Boehringer Ingelheim is the way the company promotes the long-term development of young employees. This, I guess, is one of the main benefits of working for an independent company.”
