Striving for continuous
improvement
In order to strive for continuous improvement Boehringer Ingelheim sets long and mid-term targets at corporate level. The company committed, for instance, to efficient use of resources and to reduction of waste and emissions.
Considerable results were achieved since mid-nineties. In the last few years we have observed that EHS data has become more difficult to improve due to the high performance standard already achieved. Of course, we endeavour to maintain the good level and to improve wherever it is possible with adequate effort.
Data 2003 - 2007
Boehringer Ingelheim's Corporate Planning and Reporting System collects environmental and safety data from all sites around the world. These data are consolidated annually to show the results of the company's efforts.
