Corporate Citizenship

We seek to foster economic and social well-being in the countries and communities in which we do business. Corporate citizenship is an integral part of our corporate culture.

Our activities, therefore, emanate from our operating units in the countries and embrace patients, neighbouring communities and society at large.

  • The Making More Health Initiative

"Making more health" is a long-term, global initiative aimed at improving health in communities around the world by identifying and supporting the most promising solutions to challenging health problems.

  • Partnerships with academic research

Boehringer Ingelheim regards its involvement in public-private partnerships as active citizenship and a service to society.

  • Boehringer Ingelheim foundations

The Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation as well as the Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds are non-profit organisations, which act independently of the company. Both foundations are dedicated to the exclusive and direct promotion of science and basic research.

  • Patient Organisations

We remain committed to the principle of reporting accurate, fair and objective information about our collaboration with patient organisations.

  • Cultural commitment

For five decades, the art exhibition "Internationale Tage" (International Days) in Ingelheim has been one of Boehringer Ingelheim’s cultural commitments.
