Another important step in Boehringer Ingelheim's fight against HIV/AIDS is its policy to support access to nevirapine. Boehringer Ingelheim will not enforce its patents and offers interested manufacturers listed on the WHO prequalification list non-assert declarations allowing them to supply nevirapine-containing medicines for Eligible Countries.
