Employee volunteering		In 2007 Boehringer Ingelheim employees in Portugal volunteered to build houses for families in need in association with the humanitarian organisation Habitat for Humanity.		Habitat for Humanity Portugal
Employee volunteering		Employees of Boehringer Ingelheim Portugal worked with a Portuguese institution "Sem Abrigo", who helps people without a home. Three teams prepared food and drink donations that were distributed to the homeless.		"Sem Abrigo Homeless"

Employee volunteering "Marabous in danger"		Boehringer Ingelheim employees built "houses" for five marabous that had recently arrived in Badoca Safari Park. The animals were living in a provisory installation, away from public exposure. Marabous ingest bacterial waste and help humans by reducing the spread of disease.		Badoca Safari Park
Employee volunteering		Boehringer Ingelheim employees were feeding the Iberian Wolfs and cleaning the surrounding forest to avoid fires.
