Boehringer Ingelheim Spain organises a tour for employees’ children that aims to encourage co-existence among children and adolescents. Children and their education are paramount, and through this initiative they will become responsible for tasks they would not normally carry out. They will acquire better domestic habits and form true bonds of friendships. Boehringer Ingelheim Spain also offers assistance to the summer camps that the municipality of Malgrat, Spain organises.

for our society Sponsoring / The Medical Journalism Award supported by Boehringer Ingelheim in Spain

Since 1987, the Medical Journalism Award has helped promote the diffusion of advances in medicine and health reported by the country’s media. Boehringer Ingelheim has given out awards to more than 30 professionals responsible for work published in the press or broadcast on radio or television to support information exchange regarding scientific topics.The awards, which have a record participation in 2006 of 232 submitted works, are given out at an official ceremony in Madrid that brings together key figures from the world of institutions, politics, science and the media.
Culture and Arts / St. Cugat Symphony Orchestra

Boehringer Ingelheim Spain has been involved in supporting the city’s Symphony Orchestra (OSSC) for six years. The OSSC is considered to be one of the best orchestras in Catalonia which is currently made up of more than 60 musicians.
It was created in 1991 and since then has performed more than 400 concerts, and over the last three years many of these have been sponsored by BI Spain.

In June 2007, our new central waste air incineration plant in Malgrat, Spain was officially opened. In this fully-automated system, the solvent-contaminated process air from three production plants is burned at 950 °C. This has produced a substantial improvement in the cleaning capacity compared to the existing decentralised system.
Our chemical site in Malgrat, Spain have its environmental management systems certified in accordance with ISO 14001. |
