Human Resources
Globally, our Human Resources division operates as a strategic partner across all business areas, on both a local and global level. Focus areas include talent acquisition and management, leadership development, and diversity & inclusion strategies, as well as providing strategic and operational support.
Finance
Our Finance Division implements the strategies that keep us financially stable, and ensures that we meet our obligations to the authorities and our stakeholders – as well as the everyday monitoring of our financial performance. Their colleagues in Controlling regulate our financial operations and provide strategic advice.
Sourcing & Purchasing
Sourcing is a strategic partner for Boehringer Ingelheim’s global business and forms a key part of the Global Business Services (GBS) corporate division. They ensure value purchasing and secure buying power & business continuity across all Business Units for global supply markets. As a global team working across 16 Regional Operating Units, Sourcing manages yearly spending of approximately 8 billion euro on purchasing goods and services for Boehringer Ingelheim colleagues in Human Pharma, Animal Health, BioPharma and Finance & Group functions.
Global Business Services
Global Business Services (GBS) supports the growth of Boehringer Ingelheim by maintaining efficient, effective and compliant standard operational processes to all of our locations around the world. Their global organization of around 2000 people operate from four centers in Manila, Buenos Aires, Germany and Wroclaw, complemented by Sourcing Teams worldwide. GBS teams share one vision, to enable Boehringer Ingelheim to focus on its core competencies and make more health. They do this by providing business services in areas such as accounting-to-reporting and talent acquisition-to retirement, sourcing the best solutions from the best suppliers, streamlining and harmonizing processes, and leveraging insightful and compliant data practices.
